The Valencia Islamic Cultural Centre

The Valencia Islamic Cultural Centre (CCIV) is a cultural, apolitical and non-profit Institution registered in the Associations Registration of the Ministry of Justice nº 6474. This Institution means to make closer the relation between Muslims and Spaniards, in favour of the enrichment implied by a multicultural society based on the mutual respect and consciousness.

The Centre was registered as O.N.G. in the Non-governmental Organization Registration for the Development in Madrid the 29th August 2000, this was due to the fact that part of the CCIV objectives are the same as the ones promoted by these organizations, such as:

Defence and promotion of both the fundamental Human Rights and Human Liberties and Peace, respecting diversity.

Recognition of the human being in his individual and social dimension as well as his cultural, social and religious rights.

The adoption of both the principle of co responsibility between States and coherence of Cooperation and Development policies in their aim of eradicating the world poverty.
 
The CCIV is member of the “Foro Valenciano de la Inmigración” (Valencian Immigration Forum) of the Generalitat Valenciana, member of the "Taula de Solidaritat" Delegació D'acció Social C.M.S.S. "Salvador Allende" and it also belongs to the Plataforma Valenciana de Entidades de Voluntariado Social.

The CCIV has signed covenants with the following Institutions:
