Association Principles

Defence and promotion of the Fundamental Human Rights and Human Liberties, Peace, Democracy and citizen’s participation in equal conditions. Rejection of any type of discrimination against on the grounds of race, sex, culture and religion.

Rejection of any type of violence. Recognition of the human being in his individual and social dimension as well as his cultural, social and religious rights. Need of promoting a global, interdependent, participative, sustainable development with sex equality in all the nations, trying to administer the Principle of International Co-responsibility. This way, the efficiency and coherence of the Cooperation and Development Policies will be insured in order to eradicate world poverty.

Association objectives

·1 Promoting both the indigenous and migratory Integration of Muslims in the Comunidad Valenciana through education, information and advice

·2 Promoting cultural exchange and mutual respect between cultures, especially both the Islamic and the Spanish one.

·3 Providing Muslims the necessary instruments in order to promote an optimum spiritual development.

·4 Promoting, spreading and teaching both Islamic and Spanish cultures through cultural events, education, translations, publications, showings, conferences, classes, Spanish, Valencian and Arabic languages education and all those that the CCIV would consider important.

·5 Supporting any initiatives which implies a Civilization alliance, due to it is possible to achieve the world peace through mutual respect and knowledge.

·6 Being a mediator in any conflict which would appear between Muslims and their social environment.

·7 Protecting Islamic Spain heritage.

·8 Representing Muslims before the public and private organizations.

·9 Creating, keeping and promoting relation with other similar Associations.

How to belong to the Association?

People interested in being a member of the Association must fulfil the statutory conditions and submit an application to the Representation Organ (Junta Directiva del CCIV).

Statutory conditions:

·1 Being an individual capable of acting, and not subject to any legal condition to exercise the right.

·2 Being over 18 or at least over 14, not emancipated and with the permission proved in papers.

·3 Legal entities with the previous agreement of the competent Organ.

·4 Those which are interested in the prosecution of the objectives Association freely and voluntarily.

·5 Those which do not belong to any association or organization with contrary objectives to CCIVs.

·6 Paying fees, apportionments and other contributions.

·7 Complying with the legally reached agreements by both the Government and Representation Organs of the Association.

How to be a volunteer in the Association?

People interested in being a volunteer in the Association must submit an application to the Representation Organ (Junta Directiva del CCIV, voluntary responsible).
